About Lankford, Reed & Company

    Susan Lankford and Vicki Reed emphasize service that is responsive and flexible in meeting the accounting needs of their clients. Each of them has over twenty years of experience in accounting and tax matters. This experience includes tax issues such as stock options, stock splits, ESPP, businesses, real estate, farms and ranches.
    Sue and Vicki are both licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy as Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, Sue is licensed as a Certified Financial Planner. This means that she has completed additional classes and rigorous testing to achieve the CFP designation.
    Lankford, Reed & Company, P.C. was started in Austin in 1985 by Susan Lankford. At that time, Vicki Reed was running a solo practice in Houston, Texas. Upon relocating to Austin in 1988, Vicki worked with local CPA firms on a contract basis until joining Sue's firm in 1993.
